Day 20. At sea 5.2.25

"Sea and weather conditions have determined we won't be arriving in South Georgia today."

Sea and weather conditions have delayed our arrival at South Georgia. We are currently on plan B after hiding out in the Falklands for an extra day and a half.

Our bio security check was fairly involved.  Every piece of outerwear had to be inspected and if need vacuumed. We had a little sand in our coat pockets. Next we went down to the mudroom and our boots were scrubbed and disinfected.  

Today we went to the sea bird and whales chats. Both very informative and hopefully we will see numerous whales in the next few days. I spotted what I believed to be a whales back in the water while we were having dinner.  Verified by Mark who saw the whale spouting.

The weather has been a little bit warmer than we were thinking it would be. We did a few laps around the boat this afternoon.
