"Between the Falklands~Malvinas and South Georgia, you will be enthralled by the ceaseless flight of the many seabirds that follow and circle the ship. "
Day 6 of our Antarctic Tour.
Today we are exploring another area of the Falkland Islands called Kidney Cove. After lunch we will head towards South Georgia hopefully with the worst of the weather ahead of us. We're expecting 3m waves still instead of the 6-7m ones if we'd left yesterday. It's 9° this morning.
Ready to go exploring.
Zodiac landing.
Moore's plantain.
Hairy daisy.
We had a beautiful morning exploring the island. We attended the geology talk and have had a very social afternoon/evening with 2 other Aussie couples. We have set sail for South Georgia. We had a few penguins porpoising beside the ship as we departed.
I over indulged in a dessert treat tonight.
We have been advised to make sure everything is packed away in our rooms as it's about to get a bit lumpy on the water.

Definitely more penguins than people.
