"Sea and weather conditions have determined our arrival into South Georgia will be tomorrow morning "
Day 8 of our Antarctic Tour.
It's 8° this morning and no white caps on the water but there's a bit of a swell making the boat rock.
From our balcony.
Lunch was freshly baked glazed ham and a selection of salads, vegetables, breads and more.
The fog rolled in .
Not a lot to report today. We did a lot of eating and socialising, attended a few lectures on penguins and Ernest Shackleton's life. We saw a beautiful, big albatross and a couple of penguins.
After dinner the ships photographer and penguin expert, Jamie Lafferty, read a chapter from his book about penguins that will be released in a few months. It will be an entertaining read. He has a great sense of humour.
